The Blow Out Drawings started on June 1, 2006 when I stopped on Interstate 20 from Atlanta to Birmingham and threw
a retread in the back of my truck.
During my monthly visits to my hometown, I starting noticing these tires and began wondering what happened and the
stories that surrounded each incident.
Over 400 renderings, in a variety of mediums, have been executed in this ongoing series.
